Yes, I know what your thinking.
Didn’t there used to be a site here with pictures and stuff?
Yes, Yes there was. But I killed it.
Why would you do that you might ask. And the answer is that as I was lying awake at 2am staring at the ceiling with my fifty pound furball kicking me as she chased a bone through dreamland it occurred to me that I hadn’t touched said site in over a year. Now the main reason being that I had no idea what to do with it. The CMS (Content Management System) I was using for it had fifty million options of which I was using exactly two. I lacked the time, desire, and creativity to put the system to full use, so I essentially had a highly complex system set up so I could post the occasional picture of my mutt.
So I thought to myself, self its time for a change. And since I just had eye surgery and am basically half blind at the moment I decided it was the perfect time for a change. As you can see boredom and my strange mind are a dangerous pair, it’s a good thing I don’t currently have access to power tools or I’d be in real trouble.
Let it be said then that a blind man can in fact install WordPress at 3AM successfully. Of course that’s due to the genius of the creators for this grand program as I’m not entirely sure what I was doing. It’s a little barebones of course. The base package is up and working though so now its just a matter of finding plugins and mods to add the functionality I want without all the extraneous crap I don’t. Also a grand hurrah to spell check and years of practice typing without really paying attention; without which this post wouldn’t be nearly as readable.
And since other then posting pics my site had been used merely for blogging this version should see significantly more use. I hope to have the pics up sometime tomorrowish and then we shall move ever onward. Also I’m not sure how the comments system works here just yet but it should work opposed to the broken mess on the old version. So feel free to drop me a line, insults are as welcome as praise, just try to be creative about it.
